We have open mics on the first, second, third, and fourth Fridays of every month. The first Friday is Electric Open Mic. The Electric nite is for electronic instruments and combos. Acoustic music is ok. We’re don’t want to make a rule about the music, but this is the night when you can really kick it and get loud! The second and fourth Mondays are acoustic nites. You can play a rock style of music if you want, we just like to keep it down on these nites, and accomodate those players who come out and treat us to classical and fingerstyle jazz, etc. The third Friday is Rock Band nite. We host up to three local bands from 7-10pm. All of our open mics feature pot-luck, and your contributions are appreciated. Cover is only $4. Check out the southside’s best talent.
Beverly establishment Keegan’s Pub, located at 10618 S. Western, Chicago, has generously donated to support our Summer Girls’ Rock Band Class. We would like to thank Keegan’s and the Beverly community for coming out in support of our musical education programs.
