Anne Hills at World Music Company
Anne Hills has, in the words of the Chicago Tribune, “one of the most glorious voices in all of contemporary folk music,” and she’s been called the heir apparent to Judy Collins. Born in India as the daughter of missionaries, raised in Michigan, and now based in Pennsylvania, Anne has been a folk-music institution for more than three decades now with her soaring, crystal-clear soprano and her innovative original songs.

Dennis Stoughmatt Cajun Trio
Dennis Stroughmatt’s journey into the roots of Cajun and French Creole music, stories and language began in the small isolated communities around Sainte Genevieve, Missouri. There he learned from diverse master fiddlers such as Roy Boyer and Charlie Pashia, a blend of old-style French roots music, with infusions of Celtic bowing and Metis rhythms.

Irish Destiny is a 1926 film made in Ireland, directed by George Dewhurst and written by Isaac Eppel. It is set during the Irish War of Independence, featuring several actual participants in cameo roles, and features several fascinating shots of Dublin, including the GPO which was still burnt out after the Easter Rising only ten years previously.
